Commercial cleaning services can be costly, and sometimes you may not have the time to schedule regular cleaning services for your home. However, there are a few ways you can make your own homemade cleaning products to use in between cleaning visits or on a regular basis.
1.) Make your own cleaning solution for floors, tiles and your kitchen or bathroom by mixing 1 cup of white vinegar with 1 cup of water. White vinegar is gentle and will not harm most surfaces. You can use this solution for carpet cleaning as well.
2.) Get rid of grime in your bathtub or sinks with baking soda. Sprinkle the baking soda on the surface to be cleaned and scrub with a warm, clean sponge. Baking soda is gentle yet abrasive and will help eliminate dirt and grime.
3.) For an all-purpose cleaner, mix 1/2 cup of vinegar with 1/2 a gallon of water. Add 1/4 cup of baking soda to the water and mix. You can use this on variety of surfaces such as chrome and tile.
4.) Add lemon juice to small jars and place around the home. Lemon juice helps absorb unpleasant odors.
When you do not have time for commercial cleaning services or simply need products to use on a regular basis, you can make your own cleaning products with a variety of ingredients you keep in your home.
